FAQs

What is CareZone?

CareZone makes it easier to stay organized and effective when caring for a parent, child, or someone in need. From your computer, smartphone or tablet you can safely organize files, contacts, and medications, and coordinate with family and other caregivers using a shared calendar and journal.

How many people can I care for?

Use CareZone to care for as many people, families, pets, or even households as you’d like. Oh, and don’t forget to care for yourself, too!

How do I share information with others?

You can invite anyone, such as a family member or helper, to share access to the information on CareZone. People you’ve shared with can view, add, and edit information in an account and use the journal and calendar to stay coordinated and up to date. Don’t worry, you control what files and notes each person can and can’t see, and you can revoke their access at any time.

How many people can I share with?

As many as you want.

How do I know my data is safe?

When you keep your family information on CareZone, you have backup—literally. We encrypt and store your information in several physically and virtually secure locations, several times per day. Never again worry about theft, loss, or natural disasters. You’re safe with us. For more detailed info, please visit our privacy and security pages.

How much does it cost?

CareZone is free to join and use. Simply sign up with an email address and password.

How do you make money?

Soon, we’ll offer premium features and services, but everything available today in a CareZone account will remain free.

We don’t make money from advertising. We purposely don’t allow ads, because your privacy is our highest priority.

Do you sell my information to anyone?

No. Never. We keep our own family information on CareZone, too, so privacy means as much to us as it does to you.

What is CareZone Broadcast?

CareZone Broadcast is a feature of our iPhone app (coming soon to more devices). You can use it to record a voice message and send it to up to 100 recipients. You’ll know who received it, who got voicemail, and who was inaccessible.
